About PorkChop
PorkChop is a learning management system purpose-built for Career and Technical Education (CTE) and trade programs. Powered by BenchTech™ infrastructure, it replaces lecture-centric LMS tools with a platform designed for students who learn by doing. It supports nine built-in trade disciplines — Culinary, Plumbing, Automotive, Construction, Electrical, HVAC, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Machining — each with an AI assistant persona (e.g. Chef Freddie), adapted terminology, and discipline-specific branding. Students build durable skill portfolios through video submissions, competency checkpoints, and a 60-level progression system with talent trees, badges, and XP rewards mirroring real trade career hierarchies from apprentice to master craftsman. Assignments are auto-tagged to industry standards and certifications. Schools upload their own syllabi and lesson plans; PorkChop processes and structures them into measurable, repeatable skill progressions. Also built for continuing education, workforce training, and employer partnerships.
